As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will report security-related concerns and contribute to a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, leasing office surroundings, and property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
