Clinical Dietitian

Assess patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards. Counsel patients and/or families by identifying nutrition-related problems. Develop plans of instruction and nutritional care, and monitor results. Identify inpatients at nutritional risk and document recommendations. Participate in physicians' rounds, discharge planning rounds, and conferences with nutritional implications. Participate in the development of departmental policies, procedures, nutritional standards, patient educational material, and quality improvement projects. Conduct education programs for patients, community groups, and staff.
