Senior Data Engineer
Location - Remote or Raleigh, NC
Job Type - Contract
Responsibilities - Partner with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop detailed functional and technical design specifications, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Execute full scale SDLC activities including code and peer reviews, CI/CD deployments, QA support, UAT coordination, post-production validation, and warranty support to ensure delivery of stable, high-quality data solutions. Design and deliver scalable data warehousing solutions using Snowflake's advanced capabilities including SQL-based transformations, Snowpark, streams, dynamic tables, and task orchestration—to support enterprise analytics. Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, Python, and PySpark enabling seamless data integration across cloud and legacy systems. Develop cloud-native data workflows using a custom ETL/ELT framework with AWS Step Functions, Lambda, EMR, CloudWatch, Glue, and related services—automating and monitoring complex analytics pipelines with high performance, cost efficiency, and reliability. Collaborate with enterprise platform teams—including infrastructure, security, cloud, and data architecture—to ensure seamless integration and compliance, while independently implementing data quality frameworks, governance, and privacy controls, and managing data lifecycle, maintenance, and asset integrity across platforms
Skills Required - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
