We see obstacles as challenging opportunities for growth.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FORKLIFT DRIVERAs a Forklift Driver, you are responsible for helping move product and maintaining organization throughout the warehouse. The product mover must have strong attention to detail and knowledge of product and location. JOB DUTIES:Continuously:Perform daily inspection on forklift.Load and unload trucks.Accurately load all customers' trucks with double check.Keep warehouse organized and clean.Keep floor stocked with pallets and boxes.Pay attention to detail and watch for any product discrepancies/errors.Put away product.Work where assigned by Supervisor.Wear seatbelt and follow all safety procedures.Periodically:Help with special projects as needed.Check all labels to ensure they are stored correctly.Organize and sort pallets.Odd sized, bad, broken, production, etc.Communication:Communicate with Managers/Supervisors to know what materials are needed and priorities.Communicate with Shipping Foreman all priorities, project instruction, special projects, etc.COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES):Reliable and dependable.Strong work ethic.Takes direction well.Positive attitude.Must work well with others as well as with minimal supervision.Self-motivatedStrong attention to detail.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 18 years of age.High School diploma or GED.Must be forklift certified.Knowledge of product and locations.Must be able to lift up to lift 50 pounds regularly.Must be physically able to sit and twist for long periods of time.WORK SCHEDULEDay shift READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?We understand your time is valuable, so we have a very quick and easy application process.
