Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)The position is for a Surgical Tech working 4x10 days from 06:00 to 16:30. Call is required one night per week and one weekend per month. Candidates must have BLS and NBSTSA certifications. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Local applicants will not be considered; candidates must live 75 miles or more from the facility. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring proper sterile techniques, and managing surgical instruments. Skills required include experience with abdominal surgeries, arthroscopy, laparoscopic procedures, and general OR duties. Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic technique and care of scopes and fiber optic equipment is essential. The candidate will work with diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The average daily surgical case volume is 40 or more.
