Medical/Telemetry Nurse

Seeking a dedicated Medical/Telemetry Nurse with recent experience in a comparable facility or larger. This role requires proficiency in both Basic Life Support (BLS) and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical/Telemetry unit.

Monitor patients' vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and care provided.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Current RN license in the applicable state.

Recent Med/Telemetry nursing experience at a facility with 220 beds or larger.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Certification in NIHSS.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This position requires flexibility to work every 4th weekend, ensuring comprehensive coverage in patient care.
