About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 18 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:45 - 17:15 Experience: Minimum 3 Years License: WA License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Experience with Neuro, Spine, Thoracic, and Vascular is a plus. Description: Position for CVOR Tech with a start date of 9/14. The schedule consists of 4x10's from 06:45 to 17:15. Call requirements include three weeknight call shifts and two 24-hour weekend shifts per month. Weekend coverage is on an as-needed basis. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience; first-time travelers are not accepted. Floating within the hospital is required, but floating to sister hospitals is not allowed. The facility operates with an average daily census of 50-75 patients across 28 rooms. The patient population includes orthopedic sports cases with a focus on minimally invasive arthroscopic and laparoscopic procedures, robotics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and plastics. Experience in high acuity environments is necessary, as the setting is very busy. Additional experience with specific surgeries such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass graft, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement is beneficial. Candidates must be prepared for potential low census situations which may involve being called off or placed on-call. The facility emphasizes the need for a well-rounded CVOR tech capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Travel experience is required for this position.
