We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Dispatcher to become a valued member of our team.Position SummaryThe Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating transportation services, supporting field crews, and ensuring transport requests are managed efficiently and professionally. This position requires strong communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and dispatch transport requests in a timely and efficient manner.Monitor transportation schedules and ensure pickups and drop-offs are completed as scheduled.Maintain communication with crews and account for unit status throughout the shift.Notify facilities, passengers, or callers regarding delays or schedule changes.Update schedules and transport information in real time throughout the shift.Communicate accurate and timely information to field staff.Resolve operational issues and assist with problem-solving to maintain service efficiency.Provide exceptional customer service and perform customer service-related duties as needed.Maintain professionalism and effective communication with crews, facilities, patients, and callers.Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of dispatch experience in EMS or Paratransit required.Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dispatching, scheduling, and database systems quickly.Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively and build trust in a team environment.Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities required.High school diploma or GED required.EMT certification preferred but not required.Must maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and commitment to high performance standards.What We Offer:Competitive hourly pay.Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.401(k) retirement plan.Paid Time Off (PTO).Supportive team environment and opportunities for professional growth.Keystone Quality Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a Drug-Free Workplace.
