Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

CrossTech is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on an ongoing basis to design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and reliable multi-cloud environments. This position is responsible for building and maintaining enterprise cloud infrastructure, automating provisioning, and ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency across all platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and system optimization while collaborating across DevOps, security, and application teams to deliver high-availability cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure components across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
• Automate resource provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or CLI scripting
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and cost across multiple cloud platforms
• Implement and maintain security, compliance, and governance controls in alignment with enterprise standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and network issues across compute, storage, and access layers
• Collaborate with DevOps, architecture, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions and CI/CD automation
• Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, procedures, and architecture diagrams
• Research emerging cloud services and recommend improvements for infrastructure modernization
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering across Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong proficiency in automation and scripting (Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or CLI tools)
• Experience with networking, identity management, and security configuration in cloud environments
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions under deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), or Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Experience with hybrid cloud and infrastructure monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and governance frameworks
