Position Title: Jetter Operator

Essential Functions:

The Jetter Operator is responsible in directing the operation of the Jetter Truck. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating high-pressure jetting equipment to clean, maintain, and inspect pipes and drainage systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate high-pressure jetting equipment to clean pipes, sewers, and drainage systems.
• Operate Jetter truck and equipment in a safe and professional manner
• Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Jetter Operation
• Inspect and maintain jetting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during operations
• Perform pre and post trip inspections, as well as routine maintenance
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisor, and clients
• Complete all required paperwork properly and within set time lines
• Assist with other related tasks as needed

Success Factors:

• Knowledge of basic underground utilities
• Skilled in operating heavy equipment and machines proficiently and safely
• Ability to use time and equipment to complete projects on time
• Mapping and print reading
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with jetting equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Experience and Education:

• Valid state driver license with clean driving record; CDL preferred
• Previous experience as a jetting operator or in a similar role.

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid state of residence driver's license is required within two weeks of employment.
• Candidates must pass criminal and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
