Job Details Requisition #: 667360 Location: Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, Columbia, MD 21044 Category: Nursing Support/Patient Care Schedule: Night Shift Employment Type: Full Time Position Details Unit: Orthopedics 36 hours/week; Full Time benefitted 12‑hour night shift; 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. Weekend work required; 3 weekend shifts in a 4‑week period The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange relevant information. Communication with external contacts involves providing or giving factual information. One year of clinical experience is required. Licensure and Certifications Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing required. Current CPR certification. Salary Range Minimum $18.41/hour - Maximum $27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
