We are seeking a skilled MRI Tech with a strong background in neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging to join our team. This role focuses on weekend night shifts and supports both inpatient and outpatient imaging with a focus on oncology cases.

Department Information:

• Average Daily Census: 35-40 cases/day
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Electronic Documentation: EPIC

Required Experience & Certifications:

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Valid Ohio State License

Required Skills:

• Experience in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care settings
• Proficiency in imaging: Abdominal, Female & Male Pelvis, Chest, Brain, Face/Neck, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, Shoulder
• Familiarity with PACS and Siemens equipment
• Special Imaging Procedures: Fusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing (ADC mapping, subtraction), Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T1 & T2 Weighted Imaging, Spine Imaging: Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic

Travel Compliance:

There is a strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start no exceptions. Please screen for any candidate vacation time taking place immediately after booking as this will likely cause a push due to fingerprinting delays. Please only submit to one location. The AM team will find the best fit for the clinician. PLEASE NOTE: ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE MADE AWARE OF THE URGENCY OF THE OHIO FINGERPRINTING PROCESS. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. TRAVELERS WHO ARE UNRESPONSIVE OR UNCOOPERATIVE WITH CREDENTIALING ARE AT RISK OF PUSH/CANCEL. All candidates who are currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking. Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team. RTO required with submission, must be built into contract Locals are accepted at the same rate.

Reference Requirements: 2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
