- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience working in varying weather elements
- Experienced with operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment
- Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
- Primary operations of haul trucks; water trucks, rock breakers, and fuel truck
- Operating mobile equipment including front end loaders, haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators, fuel truck, dredge, and skid steer loaders
- Inspect all operating equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets and report problems
- Correct malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards
- Maintain strong communication with quality personnel and make adjustments to material blends
