Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a commitment to quality healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care within the Medical Surgical unit, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs and observe for any changes that require medical intervention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg experience.
• Have at least 1 year of travel nursing experience, preferably with recent renewals.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team.
