  • Ongoing Assignment
  • Inpatient Practice
  • Scheduled Clinical Hours + Beeper Call
  • 1:1 Call Coverage
  • 30-Minute Response Time
  • Approximately 5 10 Phone Consults per 24-Hour Call
  • Approximately 6 10 Patient Encounters per Shift

Compensation:

  • Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
  • Admissions & Rounding Required
  • No Hospital Privileges Required
  • Temporary Privileges Available
  • EMR: Epic
  • 10-Bed Department
  • Facility Accepts Multiple Providers

Practice Setting:

  • Inpatient Psychiatry
  • Acute Psychiatric Unit
  • 2 NP/PAs Available
  • 4 RNs, 2 MAs & Office Support
  • Provider Will Supervise APPs
  • No Resident or Teaching Supervision

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Management of Psychiatric Patients
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Affective Disorders
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Personality Disorders
  • Eating Disorders
  • Developmental Disorders
  • Psychotic Disorders
  • Organic Disorders
  • Involuntary Commitments
  • Seclusion Therapy
  • Restraint Application
  • Pharmacotherapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • ECT Experience Preferred

Assignment Details:

  • Long-Term Permanent Vacancy Coverage

License & Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Required
  • Active Ohio License or Active IMLC Required
  • BLS Required
  • PALS Required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Experience
  • Experience Supervising APPs
  • Familiarity with Involuntary Commitments and Emergency Psychiatry
