X-Ray Technologist

Location: Katy, TX

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $36.50/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Katy, TX. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients on imaging procedures in a calm, professional, and courteous manner
• Prepare imaging equipment and patient exam rooms for procedures
• Position and monitor patients during diagnostic imaging exams
• Capture and submit imaging views for provider review
• Maintain patient and equipment safety at all times
• Administer appropriate radiation doses in accordance with established protocols
• Troubleshoot and address equipment issues as needed
• Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate degree or technical degree from an accredited college required

Certifications/Licensure:

• Current MRT License required
• ARRT Certification required

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
