Axiom Staffing is seeking a Machinist at a local company in Hallam, PA. This position is a direct hire opportunity. Our client is a fast growing, award-winning family-owned business located in York, PA is seeking a full-time Machinist/ Hydraulic Cylinder Technician to be a Hydraulic Bench Mechanic in our Allied Hydraulic Service facility based out of Hallam, PA. The Hydraulic Bench Mechanic position evaluates, repairs, tests and troubleshoots hydraulic components. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to take their CNC Lathe experience and apply it to learn to operate a manual lathe. Responsibilities All activities associated with the tear down, inspection, and repair and testing of hydraulic components Machining capabilities to manufacture cylinder components Welding as required Work overtime as required to complete projects/assignments Complete all training classes as assigned Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when performing tasks Perform other essential and related duties as assigned Requirements Previous experience with using a lathe & end mill is required Hydraulic experience with repair/ troubleshooting preferred, but not required Ability to work within a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and organization Strong math skills Hand tools required Ability to read measuring tools/gauges
