Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Operator II to support day-to-day manufacturing operations at its Jacksonville production facility. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring processes, handling materials, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

This is an entry-level manufacturing role with opportunities to gain experience operating industrial equipment while supporting production and environmental operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently while following established work instructions.
• Monitor equipment throughout the shift to ensure proper operation and promptly report any issues.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
• Read, understand, and accurately follow documented manufacturing processes.
• Support production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Meet internal and external customer expectations through quality workmanship.

Carbon Operations

• Package finished products and collect product samples for testing.
• Manage spent carbon feed to the reactivation furnace.
• Switch tank feeds as required during production.
• Calibrate pH probes and related process equipment.
• Operate filter press equipment.
• Support facility wastewater treatment plant operations.

Regeneration Operations

• Sort bottles by size and resin type.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload delivery trucks safely.
• Evacuate and prepare bottles for processing.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a plant or factory environment is beneficial.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Site-Specific Requirements

• Successfully complete site-specific safety orientation.
• Ability to complete 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) Training .
• Willingness to work in both Carbon and Regeneration production areas as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the workday.
• Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 30 lbs .
• Ability to climb stairs and perform bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying tasks.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 0&degree;F to 120&degree;F .
• Ability to work in noisy environments while wearing required hearing protection.
• Comfortable working around dust, dirt, and concrete flooring.
• Ability to operate a computer and communicate effectively by phone and in person.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing, production, or plant experience.
• Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience.
• Basic understanding of industrial equipment and production processes.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
