Process Engineer

System Design Engineer

System design for facilities in one or more of the following areas: mid-stream, gas treating, gathering, and oil/gas.

Education/Experience/Training:

• BS in Chemical Engineering
• Professional Engineer License is a plus

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (compressors/pumps/heat exchangers/distillation columns/separators/reactors) and providing info in equipment data sheets
• Battery Limit List development
• Logic diagrams as well as cause & effect
• Ability to select and size relief valves per codes and requirements.
• Responsible for preparing/maintaining calculations by the project plan for subs for client review
• Know and understanding of the discipline specific scope of work, design criteria, and project standards
• Check the work that is received from Designers/Drafters for correctness and quality
• Developing the process parameters including mass flow, heat transfer, material balance capacities and rates
• Chemical balances, pipe flow rate, compressions, over pressure protection
• UniSim, HYSYS, ProMax
• PID, PFD, Layouts and Specifications
