Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations to determine patient needs, impairments, and functional goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on mobility, functional independence, and discharge goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including range of motion, strengthening, gait training, balance training, manual therapy, and modalities as appropriate.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, optimize safety, and support timely discharge planning.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active physical therapy license in the United States (state-specific as required).
• Ability to work in an inpatient acute care setting.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff.
• Proficiency in standard PT evaluation and treatment procedures and documentation.
• Availability to work a 40-hour workweek on daytime shifts.
• Adaptability to new clinical environments and teams; travel-ready.
