Registered Nurse – Adolescent Behavioral Health Inpatient in Rochester, NY, United States. This travel assignment starts on 09/14/2026 for a 17-week contract. Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments with patients and families to gather case history and inform care planning
- Plan and deliver nursing care for adolescent patients with acute behavioral health needs
- Formulate nursing diagnoses and collaborate with psychiatrists and behavioral health team to design treatment plans
- Administer psychotropic medications and monitor patient responses, noting adverse reactions
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and manage behavioral safety for staff and patients
- Document patient information in medical records, follow physician orders, and protect patient confidentiality
- Complete needed administrative tasks, including progress notes and charting in the electronic system

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Telemetry experience is a plus (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call and callback as needed
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure to practice in New York
