About the Role

The Senior Marketing Specialist is a versatile, hands-on marketer who will play an important role in driving HALO’s growth through integrated marketing, content and demand generation.

Approximately 60% of the role will focus on Recruiting + M&A Marketing, where this person will help shape the strategy and own the development and execution of campaigns designed to attract high performing sellers and business owners to HALO, while strengthening our presence within the promotional products industry. The remaining 40% will support HALO’s broader demand generation and content efforts, including business development campaigns, email marketing, thought leadership, seller social content, and other programs designed to engage clients and prospects and create growth opportunities.

We’re looking for a well-rounded marketer who can think strategically, get creative, and roll up their sleeves to execute. The ideal candidate brings ideas to the table, develops the brief, creates compelling content, connects the dots across channels, and is always looking for new and better ways to reach our audiences and drive growth

What You’ll Do

Recruiting + M&A Marketing | 60%

• Partner with Demand Generation and Recruiting leadership to shape marketing strategies that attract and engage prospective sellers, business owners, and M&A opportunities for HALO 
• Take ownership of translating growth priorities into integrated campaign strategies and briefs, defining audiences, messaging, content, and measurement, and driving programs from idea through execution
• Develop and execute integrated campaigns across email, direct mail, paid media, digital, social, industry advertising, and events, including nurture and targeted prospecting programs
• Develop compelling content and storytelling across emails, landing pages, articles, thought leadership, ads, direct mail, presentations, seller stories, and other communications.
• Build HALO’s visibility and presence within the promotional products industry through publications, associations, events, sponsorships, advertising, content, and new opportunities to reach priority audiences
• Measure performance, continually optimize campaigns and bring forward new ideas and approaches to strengthen seller recruiting and M&A marketing

HALO Demand Generation + Content | 40%

• Support the development and execution of integrated demand generation campaigns across email, paid media, content and digital channels, contributing ideas, messaging, content and campaign assets from concept through launch.
• Write and develop email marketing content for HALO sellers to share with clients, including trends, new catalogs and collections, seasonal opportunities, tentpole initiatives, and HALO capabilities
• Develop blogs, articles, thought leadership and other content that brings HALO’s trends, insights, expertise, capabilities and client stories to life and supports broader brand and demand generation priorities
• Support HALO’s seller social strategy, helping develop content, campaigns and ready-to use social assets that make it easy for sellers to build their presence, engage clients, and amplify HALO content through their own networks
• Support business development and targeted prospecting campaigns, developing messaging, briefs, content, and campaign assets for priority audiences and growth opportunities
• Partner across Marketing, Merchandising, Supplier Relations, Sales and other teams to find the stories worth telling and turn them into compelling marketing content

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in integrated marketing, demand generation, content marketing, digital marketing, B2B marketing or a related field
• A strong generalist marketing foundation with the ability to move fluidly between strategy, creative thinking, content development and hands-on execution
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling content for different audiences, formats and channels
• Experience developing and executing integrated campaigns across email, direct mail, digital, content, paid media and other channels
• A self-starter who can independently drive work forward, manage multiple priorities and effectively collaborate across teams and stakeholders
• Creative, curious and growth-oriented, with the confidence to think big, bring forward new ideas, experiment and continually look for better ways to reach an audience

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is between $55,000 - $80,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
