The Opportunity:

As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in Navy network and IT systems to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll develop and maintain networks for critical systems supporting military readiness and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

You'll apply your expertise in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, and network security as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Navy evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience performing network engineering functions
• Knowledge of core networking protocols, including OSPF, BGP, and STP
• Knowledge of Type 1 cryptographic equipment
• Ability to analyze network documentation, diagrams, and NESSUS scan results
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or IT field
• Security+ CE Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of DoW network architecture standards
• Top Secret clearance
• CCNA Certification or higher

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
