About the team We are looking for experienced photographers for part‑time real‑estate media work in Long Island, NY. Capture high‑quality photos, videos, and 3D interactive floor plans to help real estate agents professionally market listings. Work at the forefront of real estate media innovation, capturing media that consumers want to see when shopping for a home. About the role This part‑time position typically requires 10–20 hours per week, depending on location and business needs. During periods of high demand, photographers may work more than 20 hours. Opportunities for full time may arise. Photographers will drive between job sites, capture media, and upload it efficiently. Responsibilities Capture industry‑leading still photography, listing videos, 3D or 360 virtual tours, drone photography and videos (when needed), and social media videos for for‑sale or for‑rent properties. Use advanced techniques and equipment to showcase unique features and aesthetics. Coordinate and interact with clients on site to understand photography needs and expectations. Guide clients and property owners during sessions to achieve desired outcomes. Use proprietary technology to create rich media experiences. Ensure all photographs meet brand guidelines and represent properties accurately. Maintain photography equipment for optimal performance. Organize and upload media for post‑processing, meeting deadlines and punctuality standards. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in real estate photography. Develop creative concepts to showcase unique selling points. Collaborate with regional managers, market leaders, photographers, agents, and marketing professionals to deliver cohesive visual assets. Adapt to future media, product, service, capture, or processing changes. Requirements Ability to learn Zillow Media Expert processes and computer systems. Experience in high‑quality real‑estate photography, videos, 3D tours, and drone media. Deep understanding of photography fundamentals using DSLR or mirrorless systems. May be required to obtain an FAA Part 107 drone license, complete training, and operate drone safely. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, able to drive within a 60‑mile radius. Availability of minimum 20 hours per week. Internet upload speed of at least 15Mbps preferred. Located near Long Island, NY. Possession of a professional full‑frame or crop‑sensor DSLR/mirrorless camera capable of 5‑bracket AE bracketing, wide‑angle zoom lens, ball or geared head tripod. Pay range In New York and other states: $24.10–$38.50 per hour. Pay range may vary by location.
