In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to provide transformative mental health services, including individual and group therapy, tailored interventions for substance use disorders, and comprehensive assessments. You will play an essential role in fostering recovery-oriented outcomes, helping clients restore their emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and social well-being.

About the Organization

Our approach is grounded in a commitment to client-centered care, which emphasizes recovery and overall well-being. We believe in creating a compassionate space where clients can work towards their goals with the support of our skilled team of therapists and counselors.

Work Environment

Our work setting is structured to provide the flexibility and comfort of remote engagements while maintaining the collaborative culture of an outpatient office. You will be part of a passionate team that values communication, professionalism, and respect for our diverse clientele. Our clinicians are equipped with the latest tools and technology to ensure seamless interactions and effective treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in effective communication with physicians and healthcare providers to report on patient progress, needs, and concerns, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
  • Consult with clients’ family members and support networks to facilitate comprehensive treatment and discharge planning that incorporates their perspectives.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation, including clinical and progress notes, in alignment with organizational policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans based on psychosocial assessments, employing evidence-based social work interventions.
  • Assist clients with discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition and conduct care coordination by liaising with various service providers to improve access to necessary resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will directly impact a diverse adult population dealing with various psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Each client brings a unique story to therapy, and as their counselor, your role will be critical in guiding their journey towards healing and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active professional licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or another recognized equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient setting, providing therapeutic services to clients.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with word processing, email communication, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrating self-initiative and professional accountability.
Preferred Experience

While three years of outpatient experience is required, candidates with additional training in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or motivational interviewing techniques will be highly regarded. Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency can enhance client relationships and treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health insurance with options for individual or family coverage
  • Dental and life insurance plans
  • Disability insurance to support you during unforeseen circumstances
  • Generous paid time off for vacation, personal days, and professional development
