Thomas Printworks is searching for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our Promotional team. A successful candidate must be efficient, capable of multitasking, and possess the ability to apply their experience and knowledge to new and changing situations. This is an in-person position based out of our North Houston, TX location.
Promotional Products Specialists support both internal teams and external clients by researching, recommending, and developing proposals for promotional products that help meet customer needs and support the sales process. They are responsible for sourcing products from suppliers, recommending pricing, and managing orders from initial quote through completion. Success in this role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to accurately manage administrative tasks, and a commitment to maintaining organized and precise records.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client goals, budgets, timelines, themes, and branding requirements.
• Research and recommend promotional products that align with customer objectives and brand identity.
• Create professional, customer-facing product proposals and presentations.
• Source products and negotiate pricing with suppliers to deliver the best value and quality.
• Analyze project requirements and prepare accurate estimates while determining the most effective production plan.
• Coordinate artwork requirements with graphic designers and review proofs to ensure quality and accuracy before production.
• Place and manage orders with suppliers, monitoring timelines and proactively resolving issues.
• Track projects from initial concept through final delivery, maintaining accurate records and providing timely updates.
• Respond to customer and sales inquiries, resolve order issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and supplier offerings to provide fresh, innovative recommendations.
• Manage vendor payments, including company credit card transactions when required.
• Prepare billing documentation and maintain organized project records.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Experience using SAGE Online (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience in promotional products, print, branded merchandise, or a related industry is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks with precision.
