Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys preparing fresh, high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent food safety and cleanliness standards. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering delicious meals with consistency.

Key Responsibilities

● Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
● Ensure food is prepared quickly, accurately, and presented attractively.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times.
● Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
● Prep ingredients, portion food, and restock kitchen supplies as needed.
● Monitor food quality and freshness, rotating inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
● Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
● Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
● Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance concerns.
● Help minimize food waste while maintaining portion control.

Qualifications

● Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred.
● Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
● Strong communication and teamwork skills.
● Dependable, punctual, and positive attitude.
● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
● Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
