Machine Assembly | 1st shift | Belvidere, IL | $17.00–$20.00

Location: Belvidere Area
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious candidates to join our team in a Heavy Manufacturing and Machine Assembly environment. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in manufacturing, machine assembly, material handling, or industrial production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical documents to accurately assemble machines and components.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Operate production equipment, including shears, benders, threaders, cranes, and forklifts.
• Load and unload materials onto trailers and move materials throughout the facility.
• Take accurate measurements using a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Identify potential design or assembly issues and make adjustments as directed by engineers and designers.
• Follow work instructions, production requirements, and customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company policies, health requirements, and safety regulations.
• Safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Maintain strong attention to detail and quality throughout the production process.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in heavy manufacturing, machine assembly, industrial production, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Experience operating hand tools and/or power tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Safety-conscious attitude at all times.
• Ability to work on your feet and maintain physical movement throughout the shift with heavy lifting.
