School-Based Registered Nurse – Cambridge, MA Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) ready to make a meaningful impact? As a full-time school-based RN, you’ll be more than a caregiver — you’ll be a health advocate, educator, and trusted support for students. From managing chronic conditions to promoting overall wellness, your care helps students stay healthy, thrive, and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to students, including medication administration and chronic condition management. Conduct health assessments and monitor vital signs (e.g., O₂, seizure monitoring). Perform catheterizations, G‑tube care, and other required nursing procedures. Educate students, staff, and families on health topics and wellness promotion. Serve as a health advocate and support resource for students and teachers. Qualifications Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse License and CPR Certification. Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred. Proficient in catheterizations (required), O₂ & seizure monitoring, G‑tube care, medication administration. Bonus experience: VNS, trach care/suctioning, ventilator support, diabetic management, epi‑pen use, J‑tube care.
