Job Description

C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, direct hire Remote Pharmacy Helpdesk Specialist in Jefferson City. Salary/hours for Remote Pharmacy Helpdesk Specialist: $18/hr. + benefit package; Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Job Description:
  • processing phone and written requests for medications submitted by physicians and pharmacies
  • assist in determining review outcomes
  • determine final decision regarding pre-certification of medications using algorithms and clinical rules associated with medications under review

Job Requirements

  • must reside in Missouri and further than 50-minutes from Jefferson City
  • 3 or more years of experience in one or more of the following (pharmacy services, healthcare settings, utilization review)
  • must be computer proficient and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Pharmacy Technician or LPN nurse candidates preferred
  • previous customer service experience and experience working with pharmacists & physicians required
