Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, including comprehensive physical exams and detailed medical history reviews
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through competent interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Work in close partnership with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, coordinating discharge planning, and delivering patient education

Education and Credentials

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program mandatory
• Preference for candidates with clinical rotations concentrated in surgical practice

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant is mandatory
