Front End Lead Part Time

Job Summary Oversees the frontline in the absence of the Front End Manager. Coaches, teaches and develops all frontline team members to ensure excellent member service. The Front End Lead drives membership metrics and ensures membership products are offered and member orders processed efficiently. Responsibilities Supervise the front line, including cashiers, SCO, and membership desk. Model excellent member service, coach, and develop team members. Drive membership metrics through acquisition, retention, loyalty, and experience programs. Enhance member engagement, speed, and productivity on the front end. Train, coach, motivate, recognize, and provide evaluation input for frontline team members. Utilize Cashier Observation Forms, Cashier Productivity Boards, and membership metrics reports to drive performance. Perform front‑end responsibilities such as closing through POS and handling escalated service issues. Act as backup for cashiers and Membership Sales Ambassadors when needed. Scan all club merchandise through a point‑of‑sale system, load carts, manage self‑checkout lanes, and assist members with operational and technical difficulties. Collect payments and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to members. Stay up‑to‑date on merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information; discount purchases by scanning and redeeming coupons. Supervise cleanliness of the front‑of‑club member servicing areas. Navigate system applications and use the online task management system (MyWork) to manage workflow, track, and monitor daily club operations. Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed. Maintain all club policies and procedures; regular, predictable, full attendance is essential. Qualifications Prior leadership experience preferred. Prior membership or sales knowledge and experience preferred. Prior cashier experience preferred. Basic math skills required. Job Conditions Most of the time spent moving on hard surfaces; may need to bend, lift up to 30 pounds, or lift heavier objects with assistance. Located in an indoor area; occasional exposure to cleaning agents. Benefits Weekly pay: get paid every week.
