Embark on a fulfilling contract role serving middle school students in a classroom that provides significant support for learners with diverse needs. Two paraprofessionals are sought to join an educational setting supporting students in grades 6-8, working with a small caseload of 5. You’ll make a direct impact in a focused, supportive classroom environment alongside dedicated professionals.

This opportunity offers steady hours, beginning immediately and extending through late May, with a consistent weekly schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:40 AM to 3:50 PM, and Wednesday from 9:40 AM to 3:50 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within a school environment
• Ability to support students with significant learning and behavioral needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers and staff
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to make a difference for middle school learners

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group support to students with significant support needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Assist with daily routines, academic activities, and behavioral interventions as guided by licensed staff
• Document student progress and contribute to team discussions on student development
