Geospatial Engineer

Duties May Include: Collect, analyze, validate, and manage geospatial data using GIS, remote sensing, and GPS tools Design, build, maintain, and test geospatial databases and enterprise geodatabases Perform spatial analysis and GIS processing using ArcGIS and related Esri products Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts using Python and SQL Produce maps, web maps, and visualizations to support analysis and decision making Integrate geospatial data with other datasets to generate actionable insights Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS users and systems Support data automation, migration, and database development efforts Coordinate tasks with project and technical managers Document processes, results, and customer interactions Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 2+ years of professional experience using GIS technologies Proficiency with Esri products (ArcGIS Desktop, Enterprise, and Online) Experience with spatial analysis, GIS workflows, and database development Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) Knowledge of Windows environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a team environment US Citizenship required Active or current (within two years of active) Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field Experience in technical support or customer-facing GIS roles Experience with data conversion or migration Knowledge of Linux and UNIX environmentsFamiliarity with web mapping and remote sensing tools Proficiency in Python scripting and SQL GIS certifications At Trinity Global Consulting (TGC), we value our employees and provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage – Coverage for eligible employees and family through CareFirst and VSP.
