Residential HVAC Service Technician | $34-$38 hourly + Union Benefits Package | Local Service Area | Take-Home Vehicle

For over 75 years, Wright Heating and Cooling has proudly served homeowners throughout Portage, Summit, and Medina Counties. We're looking for a Residential HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in diagnosing problems, providing excellent customer service, and delivering lasting solutions. Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM; occasional overtime and rotational on-call schedule

What You'll Do

Diagnose, service, and repair residential heating and cooling systems
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues
Clearly communicate repair options and recommendations to homeowners
Complete service documentation accurately
Deliver a professional, customer-focused experience on every call

Qualifications

2-3+ years of residential HVAC service experience is required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
EPA Certification
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 70+ pounds when necessary
Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
Ability to climb step ladders and extension ladders
