Production Supervisor

The DISG encompasses two business units, the Power Discrete & Modules BU and the RF/Microwave Discreet BU. Microchip is planning to fill the following position with a talented, creative and motivated individual. We're looking for a hands-on, proactive Plating Supervisor to lead our finishing team. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and develop Finishing Department Leads; conduct coaching sessions and performance reviews. Translate daily production schedules into clear priorities and staffing assignments. Monitor plating chemistry, equipment condition, and in-process inspections to hit quality metrics. Partner with Engineering on process enhancements, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance. Maintain accurate electronic records (training logs, payroll, performance notes) and report key metrics. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements/Qualifications: 5+ years in plating or chemical finishing; minimum 2 years in a supervisory role. Technical troubleshooting expertise with plating chemistry and equipment. Data-driven decision-maker with lean/process-improvement experience. Inspiring coach and communicatorable to build and lead high-performing teams. Safety-focused mindset with a commitment to zero incidents. Pay Range: The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $46,000 - $128,000.* *Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
