Location: DFW-area headquarters, onsite, with occasional travel to branch locations Type: Full-time Why this role exists We run technology services across three companies with a small team. What we're looking for is a front-line team member that we're confident in: someone who can take a ticket, diagnose it, fix it, document it, and close it out without being walked through it. We'll teach you our process, our workflow, and how this business runs. We are not looking to teach you IT. Come in already knowing how a Windows Server environment behaves, how print services work, what's happening on the network, and how to move around a Microsoft 365 tenant, and the rest is ours to hand you. What you'll do Ticket work: Take your assigned tickets from first touch to resolution, diagnose, fix, document, and elevate with context when something genuinely needs another set of hands. Endpoints & identity: Deploy, patch, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals; manage user lifecycle in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID. Business app support: First-line support for our line of business applications and everyday Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive). Projects: Take on defined pieces of rollouts, migrations, and endpoint refreshes alongside a senior teammate. What we're looking for Needed: at least one year in a help desk seat with real ticket volume and broad system exposure, where you had to diagnose quickly and document well because someone else picks up the ticket tomorrow. Three or more years is ideal; MSP experience is especially welcome. Working knowledge of Windows Server environments, print services, basic networking, and Microsoft 365 tenant administration Clear written communicator; most of this job happens in writing Proven multitasker with the ability to prioritize and work multiple requests as they land. Valid driver's license, willing to travel occasionally to branch locations Nice to have, we'll teach the rest: Epicor P21 or another distribution ERP, wholesale or HVAC background, Intune, PowerShell, Cisco Meraki, CompTIA or Microsoft certifications. How you work You'd rather fix it right than fix it twice You explain things without condescension, to anyone, at any level You tell us when something's wrong, including your own mistakes You know when to say you don't know What success looks like At 30 days: you're working your assigned tickets independently and know your way around both companies. At 90 days: we're routing work to you without checking behind you, and you've knocked out at least one recurring issue for good. At one year: users ask for you by name, and you're positioned for Level 3, Technology Support Technician.
