MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer committed to playing an integral role on the Florida Gulf Coast East team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers. You will be responsible for proactively soliciting new residential mortgage business and selling Victory Mortgage products. Key Responsibilities Prospect new mortgage lending opportunities. Meet with customers at needed stages of the loan process, both inside and outside of the office. Utilize training material, reference tools, and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to external customers. Ensure exceptional customer experiences by overseeing the loan process from origination to close and providing ongoing communication to customers. Achieve production goals as established by managers. Responsible for new business development through marketing, cold‑calling, prospecting, and networking activities. Participate in community efforts to promote homeownership. Desired Skills & Attributes Enjoy prospecting, presenting to, listening to, and closing clients. Possess a persuasive communication style to obtain buy‑in from customers. Navigate a great deal of change, pressure, and shifting priorities to accomplish goals. Desire to connect and build valuable relationships with new individuals frequently. Qualifications A minimum of two years of mortgage origination experience. NMLS License is required. Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong leadership skills, adaptability, and customer service orientation. Excellent organizational skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related fields is preferred. Physical Demands & Work Environment Must be able to use verbal communication and interact with other associates and customers. Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (typing, writing) to operate office supplies. Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25 lbs unassisted. Must be able to sit for long periods with low periods of reaching and standing.
