Packaging Technician

Packaging TechnicianPackage the craft. Fuel the taproom and the shelves.The Packaging Technician supports the day-to-day operations of OMB's production team — running packaging lines, maintaining quality standards, and keeping the brewery moving from can to keg.Packaging Technician ResponsibilitiesPerform assigned tasks at various stations on the bottling, canning, and kegging lines.Neatly palletize product from the packaging lines.Complete required paperwork accurately, neatly, and in a timely manner.Clean and fill growlers.Support QC sample collection.Assist with inspection and maintenance of equipment.Follow all operational and safety procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsAbility to follow directions and problem-solve.Ability to safely operate machinery.Ability to work both independently and with a team.Ability to recognize and respond to machinery malfunctions and safety hazards.Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.Ability to learn quickly and apply new procedures.Ability to work well under pressure.Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physically demanding work.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to work on and around potentially dangerous equipment and machinery.Willingness to work in an environment with high noise levels.Willingness to work occasional weekends.Strong work ethic and communication skills.Understanding of the importance of a clean facility and good hygiene.Interest or passion for the craft beer industry.Forklift operation experience preferred.What's In It For You (Full-Time Employees)Compensation: $17.50-$18.50/hour base pay.PTO: 20 days of PTO per year.Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision.401(K): Retirement plan with company match.Beer Stipend: Free beer stipend for OMB staff.Employee Discount: On food, merchandise, and beer.Growth: Room to grow across both locations and departments.OMB Core ValuesDedication to quality, no shortcutsIntegrity, do the right thingService-mindedPoint of pride in the communityLead, don't followTeamAdditional RequirementsAll candidates must pass a pre-employment / post-offer background check.Applications are reviewed regularly for both locations; if we'd like to move forward, HR will reach out via phone or email.
