This community hospital serves as a vital healthcare resource for the Seaside area and surrounding coastal communities. The facility operates a General Emergency Department with strong support services including 24-hour anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, and radiology, ensuring providers have the resources needed to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage beginning November 1, 2026 on an ongoing basis
• Looking for 1-2 providers to assist with inpatient Emergency Medicine coverage
• Must be willing to work night shifts as well as day shifts, with approximately half/half split between day (7am-7pm) and night (6pm-7am) shifts
• Minimum of 10-12 shifts required per month with flexibility on scheduling
• 12-hour guaranteed shifts with approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
• Must be comfortable with intubating patients
• Clean file required (no malpractice history, clean NPDB) for November start; providers without a clean file may not start until December
• Active Oregon license required; Oregon licensure only accepted
• DEA required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3 years of residency required; ABEM highly preferred, FM or IM trained with extensive EM experience will be considered
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Interviews conducted with Medical Director via phone call
• Level 4 Trauma facility
• Newborn deliveries are received in the ED; no L&D department on site

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
