- Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies and ensuring patients receive timely assistance. \n
- Educate patients about the interrelationship between mental health and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in managing their conditions. \n
- Maintain precise and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards in both the mental health and healthcare sectors. \n
- Engage actively in team meetings and case discussions to foster a culture of collective problem-solving and continuous improvement. \n

Our patient population includes individuals navigating the complexities of co-occurring mental health and medical conditions, such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and chronic illnesses. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York. \n
- Proven experience working with patients who have dual diagnoses, specifically addressing both mental health and medical concerns. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with diverse patient demographics. \n
- Capacity to maintain professional boundaries while adhering to ethical guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and other computer applications relevant to mental health practice. \n
- A strong commitment to team collaboration and participation in multidisciplinary care approaches. \n
While a strong background in mental health counseling is essential, preference will be given to candidates who have:

\n - Familiarity with evidenced-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others.
