Customer Experience Coordinator

Location 3440 Grandview Drive Job Description The Customer Experience Coordinator is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Directs the flow of customers through the Front End, ensuring sufficient checkouts are open to efficiently service customers, keeping waiting time to a minimum and monitoring breaks and lunches so service is not interrupted. Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner. Enforces security and cash control procedures, assists cashiers with change and refunds, and conducts unannounced cash audits. Monitors cashier and attendant performance, provides feedback to management, and enforces front-end policies; participates in training to maintain high productivity, speed, accuracy, and courtesy. Operates front-end scanning equipment and register, performs checkout procedures, bags merchandise efficiently, and places items in the customer’s cart. Assists customer service with answering phone calls politely, and uses intercom for announcements or pages. Maintains transaction accuracy, ensuring all items are charged and funds collected, including cash, checks, electronic payments, and coupons. Applies security measures and cash drawer accounting, preventing overages and shortages, and follows all store and legal guidelines for sale of tobacco and alcohol. Keeps up-to-date on weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions. Performs general sanitation of the department, follows cleaning schedules, and ensures that work areas are clean and compliant with health and OSHA requirements. Cooperates with co-workers and superiors to ensure smooth function of the department and store. Uses all company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE), including cut-resistant gloves, safety cutters, sponsored footwear, etc. Supervisory Responsibilities This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Education or experience completed or working toward a high school diploma or GED; no prior experience required. To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without an accommodation.
