Quick Facts Location: Clinton, NC Start Date: 07/23/2026 End Date: 10/16/2026 Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour call) Hours/Week: Varies based on call & consults Employment Type: Locum Tenant Licenses/Certifications: Active NC license, NC DEA, Board Certification required Experience: Proven orthopedic surgical experience, including trauma & fractures Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour Pay Package: Competitive pay packages with weekly direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, travel & other reimbursements, robust referral bonus program, 24/7 dedicated support team, paid licensure/certification costs, and travel capped at $500 (airfare, rental car, or mileage). What You’ll Do Provide general orthopedic surgical care, including management of wrist, ankle, and hip fractures. Perform closed reductions, admissions, and trauma stabilization procedures. Conduct consults and assist with ED visits related to trauma and fractures. Collaborate with hospital staff on patient transfers and trauma cases. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to hospital protocols. Support urgent & emergency orthopedic needs during your on-call shifts. Comply with hospital policies, licensure, and vaccination requirements. What You Need Required: Active North Carolina medical license and DEA registration Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery Valid NPI number Must be COVID-19 vaccinated Minimum 2 years of orthopedic trauma experience Ability to be onsite within 20 minutes of the hospital during on-call hours Preferred: Experience with Meditech system & trauma care protocols Ability to provide reliable after-hours coverage About the Assignment Join a modern hospital in Clinton, North Carolina, known for its compassionate patient care and commitment to staff excellence.
