About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Development with a strong background in real estate to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of complex development projects across a luxury residential, hospitality, and mixed-use portfolio. This role requires a driven and detail-oriented individual with 5-9 years' experience in real estate development, capable of managing projects from due diligence to closeout. Core responsibilities include building project budgets and cash flows, day-to-day project management, and external and internal reporting. The AVP will also be involved in meetings with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders, and must have a proven ability to project manage at a high level, coordinating multiple projects, consultants, and deadlines simultaneously. The ideal candidate for the AVP of Development position at the company will have a background that complements their development expertise, such as in architecture, construction, or business. Hands-on experience in building project budgets, proformas, and cash flow projections is essential, as is strong financial acumen and proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with South Florida municipal approval and entitlement processes is preferred. The role demands a professional who is adept at financial management, design and construction coordination, and stakeholder communication.
