Job Description
Old Hickory Golf Club is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Janitorial Services Team Member to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the Club. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming environment for Members, guests, and employees by ensuring all clubhouse facilities are clean, organized, and well maintained.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, and enjoys being part of a team committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all clubhouse facilities, including dining areas, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, event spaces, and common areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize all assigned areas.
- Replenish restroom supplies and maintain cleanliness throughout the day.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean windows, mirrors, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Assist with the setup, cleaning, and breakdown of banquet and special event spaces.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to management.
- Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Perform additional housekeeping and janitorial duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
- Positive attitude with a dependable and team-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
