Database Engineer Consultant

Leading the development and support of database technologies, the full-time remote Database Engineer Consultant will architect and implement data masking solutions, engage with stakeholders to ensure compliance, and drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities Architect and implement data masking and virtualization solutions to protect sensitive data in non-production environments Engage with application owners and technical teams to educate on data masking technologies and compliance requirements Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and automation for monitoring and validating data protection controls Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Database Technologies or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience Strong expertise in TLS, certificates, PKI, and encryption protocols Hands-on experience with Delphix data masking and virtualization Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell, or SQL Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR
