Warehouse Worker/Forklift OperatorGA Foods is hiring a Warehouse worker/Forklift Operator for our headquarters location in St. Petersburg, FL. This role will be responsible for performing warehouse duties and assist in warehouse operations in a safe, efficient and accurate manner.Essential Duties:Pull customer orders (frozen, refrigerated, dry)Operate forklift in a safe mannerConduct physical product inventoriesAssist with departmental housekeepingReceive and inbound product/unload inbound productShip outbound product/Load outbound productComplete and maintain paperwork and records as requiredOther duties assigned by managementJob Specifications and Qualifications:2 years of sit down forklift experience - requiredPallet Jack experienceIt is required to work a full time scheduled shift (5:00am - 1:30pm or until shift change including weekends)It is required to work in a freezerAble to work in the dry and Refrigerated WarehousesAble to work in the DockComputer Experience including utilization of RFID scanning technologyPhysical Demands:Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the shift.Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves, but is not limited to: food debris, odors, constant equipment noise, temperature extremes, wet areas/water, or similar elements most of the workday.Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, carry, pull, push, grasp, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout the shift.Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks - primarily manual tasks - in a standing position for the entire shift.Under 1/3: Sit, Climb or balance, Stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl, Taste or smell.Over 2/3: See, Stand, Walk, Use hands to finger/handle/feel, Reach with hands and arms, Talk or hear.Weight Lifting/Exertion:Under 1/3: Up to 80 lbs.Over to 2/3: Up to 50 lbs.Equal Opportunity Statement: At GA Foods, we are deeply committed to the principles of equal employment opportunity.
