As a Reservationist at Water's Edge Inn and Old Forge Campground, you'll be the first face our guests see and the last one they'll remember. From handling reservations to ensuring our guests have the best stay possible, you'll be at the heart of it all!

What You'll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Day-to-Day):

• Manage Reservations: Handle all guest reservations with a positive and friendly attitude, from taking bookings to ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs. You'll be the go-to expert in our reservation system and ensure all guests have a great start to their stay!
• Guest Relations: Provide top-notch customer service to all guests. Whether it's offering a warm welcome, answering questions, or resolving concerns, you'll ensure that every guest feels valued and at home.
• Coordinate with Other Teams: Work closely with the Maintenance Technician and Head Housekeeper to ensure that rooms and facilities are ready and up to standard, helping ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Policy Communication: Ensure that guests are well-informed about policies, health, and safety procedures. You'll also suggest improvements to processes and procedures to keep things running smoothly.
• Training & Coaching: Help onboard and train new team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to keep everyone on the same page and ensure great service for all.
• Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or concerns with care and professionalism, finding solutions that leave everyone happy.

What We're Looking For (a.k.a. You!):

• Friendly & Outgoing: You're the kind of person who greets every guest with a smile and is always happy to help.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with reservation software, word processing, spreadsheets, and all things PC-related.
• Excellent Communicator: Whether it's in person, on the phone, or through email, you communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members alike.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: You can juggle multiple tasks and stay on top of every detail to ensure the guest experience runs smoothly.
• Composed Under Pressure: Whether it's a busy check-in time or last-minute changes, you're able to handle high-pressure situations with a calm demeanor.
• Flexible Schedule: Ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a shared basis. After all, when guests are here to relax, you're ready to make their stay amazing!
• Experience Preferred: Previous experience in the lodging industry, particularly with reservations and guest services, is a plus, but not required.
