PCU Travel Nurse Requirements Minimum of 3 years of recent Progressive Care Unit or PCU nursing experience At least 2 previous travel nursing assignments Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida or a Compact RN license Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Degree accreditation documentation must be included in the professional profile, or candidates must have at least 5 years of PCU experience Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float when required Strong communication, adaptability, and commitment to delivering care consistent with PCU standards Progressive Care RN Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients requiring progressive care monitoring and intervention Assess patient conditions, recognize changes in acuity, and communicate concerns promptly Administer medications and treatments while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in Epic EMR Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Prioritize care for an approximately 5:1 patient assignment in an 18-bed PCU Support unit operations by floating to other appropriate units or nearby campuses when assigned Promote patient safety, continuity of care, and a positive experience for patients and families Apply now to join this Florida travel nursing opportunity and make a difference as a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse in Fort Myers.
