Phlebotomist SupervisorLabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Supervisor to join our team at 25500 Rancho Niguel Road Suite 240 Laguna Niguel, CA 92677.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday hours will vary between 6:00am – 6:00pm based on coverage needs; Weekend hours may be required as needed.Job Responsibilities:Supervise a team of approximately 30 or more phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices in South OC market Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Foothill Ranch, San Clemente areaManage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, and information logsMonitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessaryCoordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinkingPerform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules, and performance appraisalsPartner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actionsHire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positionsCommunicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior managementProvide exceptional customer service to all patients and clientsAssist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client OfficesProvide resolution of any patient or client issuesPerform, collect, and prepare specimens when neededTravel to additional sites as necessaryMinimum Qualifications:1 or more years of experience supervisory roleCalifornia state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)Preferred Qualifications:Associate Degree4 or more years of experience as phlebotomist3 or more years of experience supervisory roleAdditional Job Standards:Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.Flexibility to work overtime as neededAble to cover a geographic territory of approximately 75 milesAble to work in a fast paced / high volume work environmentExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionBe at least 21 yearsValid Driver's LicenseReliable transportation and clean driving recordAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. You will manage and oversee all aspects of our LabCorp patient service centers and designated client locations. This role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others.Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program. Phlebotomist Supervisor may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.Pay Range: $75,000 - $81,795 annually. All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
